The Cat

Introduction

Cats, also called domestic cats, are carnivorous.  Mammals, of the family Feline. Cats have been domesticated for 10,000 years old. They are currently the most popular pets in the world. Cats eat mice, and this is still their main "job" in farms throughout the world. Later they were kept because they are friendly and good companions.

Behaviour

Cats are active carnivores, meaning they hunt live prey. Their main prey is small mammals, like mice. They will also stalk, and sometimes kill and eat birds. Cats eat a wide variety of prey, including insects, and seem especially to like house flies. Cats are quiet animals, making them popular pets. Young kittens are playful.

Communication

Cats use many different sounds for communication, including meowing, purring, trilling, hissing, growling, squeaking, chirping, clicking and grunting. Body posture is also important. The whole shape of the body changes when a cat is relaxed, or when it is alert.

Carnival in Luxum Tardes +14!!

Every Saturday Luxum disco opens. The carnival is on the 29th of February.
On the day of carnival I go early and I wear a costume. I go with my best friend, Nizar Jones.
I like "Luxum Tardes" because the music and drinks in carnival are so good! 
I love dancing and the atmosphere, it is a perfect day!!
The best costume wins a PS4. 
Albertet Blanquè won! His costume was the Duchess of Alba.

NATIONALITY AND LANGUAGE REPORT

In my class there are twenty -four students from seven diferents countries. There are people from Spain, Morocco, Rusia, Japan, British, Ecuador, Bolivia, Armeria.
At school we have English classes three times at week Catalan and Spanish are also subjects here. People in this class speak Spanish and Catalan.
My level of English is good. My vocabulary is quite good, but I want to improve my listening and speaking. I think it's a good ideato memorize examples and to watch DVD's in English. In my free time, I go to the GYM, and I sing in English.

My name's Anna. I'm thirteen years old and I'm a student at La Pineda High School in Badalona. It is a beautiful place.
I like music, especially Bob Marley and Justin Bieber.
My favourite rap singer is Macklemore.
My other interests are DJ and Disco. I'm really into DJ Music because I want to be a DJ when I grow up.
