Chameleon Calypratus
The animal in this photo is a chameleon. Chameleons are from family of lizards. They are slow animals. Most Chameleons can change the colour of their skins for camouflage. Their eyes can move independently. Maybe it hunting for grasshopper.
Chamelons live in Africa, Madagascar, Spain and Portugal. They have been introduced to Hawaii, California and Florida. They are insectivores. There are about 160 species.
Chameleons are on "red list" of animals in danger. Some Chameleons are in dangerbecause the people cut threes. I think that it is important to protect these animals because they are good house hold pets.
