The animal in this photo is a chameleon. Chameleons are from family of lizards. They are slow animals. Most Chameleons can change the colour of their skins for camouflage. Their eyes can move independently. Maybe it hunting for grasshopper.

Chamelons live in Africa, Madagascar, Spain and Portugal. They have been introduced to Hawaii, California and Florida. They are insectivores. There are about 160 species.

Chameleons are on "red list" of animals in danger. Some Chameleons are in dangerbecause the people cut threes. I think that it is important to protect these animals because they are good house hold pets.

Sant Joan

A special day: Sant Joan

Every year there's a big celebration in Spain. It's called "Sant Joan". Sant Joan is in June and it's a celebration of the summer.

On the day of Sant Joan I get up late and at night, I meet my friends and go to the sports centre. I wear my jeans, and a T-shirt, and I also light firecrackers.

I like Sant Joan because  I go to bed at 5 a.m in the morning. There is also lot of people in the sports centre and outside the sports centre. I love to light firecrackers and play with my friends. I also like to run through the people. It's a fun celebration!

Nationality and Language Report

In my class there are twenty-three students from six different countries. There are people from Spain, Peru, Pakistan, Gambia, Bolivia and India. I've also got friends from different countries.

At school we have English classes three times a week. My teacher's name's is Sonia. Spanish and Catalan are also subjects here. People in this class speak Spanish, Catalan and English.

My level of English is very good. My vocabulary is quite good, but I want to improve my speaking and my pronuntiation. I think it's a good idea revise the grammar reference and memorize grammar rules. My level of English is better than the level of my mum. My cousin Mireia's level is better than my level. I practise with my cousin Mireia before the exam.

I enjoy talking in English!!!

My name's Marc. I'm twelve years old, my mum's name's is Ana. I'm student at IES La Pineda High School in Badalona, the teachers are very nice. My favorite subjects are English, Maths and Tecnology. I'm from Spain. I've got a pet, it is a turtle.
I like skating, I have a lot of friends on skating, and I like football.

Barcelona is a city in the east of Catalonia. It's got a population of about 300.000. Barcelona is more modern than Badalona. Barcelona I've got a lot of tourism.

I like Barcelona because there is a lot of tourism and there are some pretty monuments. For tourists there are a lot of shops and monuments, and there are a lot of places in Barcelona. My favorite places are the aquarium and the zoo. barcelona is small but many turists come.

Barcelona is 9,48 kilometres from Badalona. Barcelona and Badalona are 18 minuts away. Barcelona hairoport and a lot of metro stops. Barcelona is bigger than Badalona. Barcelona is prettier than Badalona.
