ANIMAL REPORT

THE LION The lion is a big and dominant mammal. They are often called “the king of the jungle”. The lions live in Africa and in a small reserve in India. However, in the past there were some wild lions in Europe. They can live in cool or hot areas. The lions can live from 10 to 14 years but in zoos they arrive to 20 years old. They can weight from 160 to 180 kilos and they are about 170-250 centimeters long. Lions eat other animals like zebras or hares. Lions are more dangerous and faster than cats. When they are young they look pretty and when they grow they look aggressive and dangerous but they aren’t.
