The lion
The lion is a beautiful animal.The lion is from the cat family, but they are a bigger than cats. Today they live in Africa, and in a small reserve in India.
They are 170–250 centimetres long; they weigh up to 180 kilos.
The lions do not usually hunt people, they have a preference for wildebeest, impalas, zebras, buffalo, and warthogs.Some lions are in captivity in the zoo.
The lion is stronger than the cat.The lions are brown.
There are approximately 30,000 African lions left in the wild and only 350 Asian lions left in the Gir Forest in the state of Gujarat, India.

Lions live from 10 to 14 years when they are in the wild.
