I descibe a kangaroo.

Kangaroo is common in Australia but  can also be found in New Guinea.

He is a marsupial animal. Marsupials have a special pouch where they carry their babies. He has got big and strong legs, big feet (designed for jumping), a long and strong tail for keeping balanced and a small head.

He's a herbivore animal because  he eats grass and roots.

He is a nocturnal animal, his life expectancy is about 18 yeas old and he can weigh up to 85 kg.

Kangaroos are on the "red list" of animals in danger. Studies says that if the temperature of the planet increases 2 ºC  one specie of kangaroo can dissapear forever and the global population of kangaroos can decrease very much.

Let's protect the kangaroos !!
